The Wastewater Technician operates and maintains treatment plant equipment to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements. This role involves performing laboratory testing, adjusting chemical dosing, and conducting routine preventive maintenance on system components.
Candidates must possess a valid state Wastewater or Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operator license and a high school diploma or GED. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks in an industrial environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This position works primarily in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to wastewater treatment systems, chemicals, moving mechanical equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. The employee must follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
