The role focuses on processing and reconciling gifts, managing donor acknowledgments, and maintaining data hygiene within Salesforce. Additionally, the coordinator manages donor-facing inboxes and provides technology support for fundraising initiatives.
Candidates need 1 to 3 years of experience in development operations or nonprofit database management with proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRMs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as a remote contractor are essential.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Stop Soldier Suicide is seeking a data-savvy and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to play a vital role in advancing the organization's revenue growth for our lifesaving mission. Reporting directly to the VP of Development, this position supports the development team by ensuring accurate gift recording, acknowledgments, and the seamless operation of fundraising programs. The Development Coordinator will also provide essential technology support, contributing to the growth and sustainability of Stop Soldier Suicide’s donor engagement efforts and fundraising initiatives. This role is central to the success of the organization’s mission-driven fundraising activities.

This is a fully remote position with occasional in-person requirements as needed. As a result, we are looking for a candidate in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area.
