Description

State Bar of Wisconsin – Marketing Coordinator/Production Artist (Hybrid)

Due to an internal promotion, the State Bar of Wisconsin is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, team-oriented professional to join our fast-paced Marketing Department. The Marketing Coordinator/Production Artist oversees the day-to-day flow of marketing projects—from intake through completion—using a project management system to assign work, track progress, and monitor deadlines. This role serves as a central hub of communication between the marketing team and internal clients, while also offering opportunities to be creative through hands-on design and production support. Once trained, this position is eligible for a hybrid schedule, working remotely up to three days per week and in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Who We Are

The State Bar of Wisconsin is a professional association created by the Wisconsin Supreme Court for all attorneys licensed to practice law in Wisconsin. With more than 25,000 members, the State Bar serves its members and the public by promoting the law and access to justice.

We support the courts in improving the administration of justice, provide continuing legal education and other services for our members, support the education of law students, and educate the public about the legal system. The State Bar also provides public services—such as attorney referrals and public education—and supports programs that offer reduced-fee legal assistance to low-income residents.

What You Will Love

  • The people, the culture, and a hybrid work environment. We care about our people, our work, and our members. We value work-life balance and offer excellent benefits and flexibility to support our employees and their families.
  • Mission-driven work. Be part of an organization that acts with integrity, promotes justice, and works toward a fair and accessible legal system.
  • Variety and pace. As part of a small marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to do a little of everything.
  • Room to learn and grow. Learn new skills, be creative, and try new things with the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the day-to-day flow of marketing projects from intake through completion
  • Use the State Bar’s project management system to assign work, track progress, and monitor deadlines
  • Prioritize and balance projects across the team to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
  • Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and potential bottlenecks
  • Serve as a central point of contact between marketing specialists, designers, and internal stakeholders across departments
  • Assist Marketing Specialists with email production and scheduling
  • Compile marketing statistics for reporting and analysis
  • Provide basic design and production support during peak workloads or overflow periods
  • Make simple edits, updates, and adaptations to existing assets (digital, email, social, and print)
  • Prepare files for production in accordance with brand standards and technical specifications
  • Assist with quality control to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand compliance

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience on a professional marketing, communications, or creative team
  • Experience using a project management system to schedule and monitor tasks and workflows
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design tools
  • Comfort working within established brand guidelines and processes

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with email marketing, digital marketing assets, and print production
  • Experience with project management software
  • Understanding of creative workflows and approval processes

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range starts at $54,441, but it can increase based on qualifications. The State Bar of Wisconsin offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • 3 weeks of paid vacation per year
  • 2 weeks of paid sick time per year
  • Excellent, low-cost health and dental insurance
  • Fully paid life and long-term disability insurance
  • 10 paid holidays plus 2 personal days
  • 2 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Volunteer time off
  • Hybrid work schedules and flexibility
  • 8% employer 401(k) contribution
  • The State Bar is also a “qualified employer” for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

How to Apply

To apply, upload your resume and cover letter, including your salary expectations. This position will remain open until filled; however, priority will be given to early applicants—so don’t wait. Apply today!
