The Operations Associate Attorney acts as a bridge between legal and operations teams, managing client escalations and ensuring legal consistency across workflows. They are responsible for maintaining legal resources, documenting USCIS policy changes, and serving as a subject matter expert for operational projects.
Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member of a state bar. A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in immigration law is required, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.
About the Role
The Operations Associate supports the Legal Operations Department by facilitating communication between operations and legal teams, handling client escalations, coordinating legal training, and ensuring legal consistency across teams. This role serves as the link between attorneys and operations, maintaining scripts and legal resources, triage client inquiries, and ensuring firm policies and USCIS guidance are consistently applied. The Operations Associate also serves as a legal subject matter expert (SME) for projects within the operations area they support.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in immigration law, be goal-oriented, able to follow detailed instructions, and motivated to help our clients obtain documents and stay united with their families. The expected salary for this role is $80.000 - $90.000 though the final offer will reflect several factors such as your experience, skills, and the role's location and may be outside of this range. Candidates should expect offers that reflect their individual qualifications, experience, and location. The salary provided is directional, and actual compensation may vary.
