Job Summary
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying, engaging and converting prospective clients into active traders by delivering an exceptional onboarding experience. The role includes lead qualification, client education, account registration, KYC verification, funding assistance and First Time Deposit (FTD) conversion while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales
Contact and engage prospective clients through warm leads and company-generated enquiries.
Build strong relationships by understanding each client's financial goals and trading interests.
Introduce clients to the company's trading platform, products, and services.
Clearly explain the benefits of online trading and available account types.
Effectively manage objections and provide suitable solutions to encourage account activation.
Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly First Time Deposit (FTD) targets.
Maintain regular follow-up with prospective clients until successful onboarding is completed.
Customer Onboarding
Guide clients through the complete account registration process.
Collect and verify customer information in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal compliance procedures.
Assist clients with KYC documentation and account verification.
Explain account funding procedures and support customers through the deposit process.
Ensure customers complete onboarding accurately, efficiently, and within compliance guidelines.
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience while minimizing operational and compliance risks.
Customer Success
Encourage customers to complete registration and make their First Time Deposit (FTD) during the initial engagement whenever possible.
Ensure customers fully understand the platform and available trading tools.
Build customer confidence by providing ongoing support during the onboarding journey.
Promote long-term client satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty through exceptional service.
Product Knowledge
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's trading platform, financial products, promotions, and services.
Clearly demonstrate platform features, trading tools, and competitive advantages to prospective clients.
Stay informed on industry developments, financial markets, and trading technologies.
Sales Performance
Meet or exceed all individual sales KPIs and performance targets.
Achieve daily outbound call, talk-time, and conversion targets.
Maximize lead conversion rates while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Contribute towards departmental revenue and business growth objectives.
Customer Feedback & Reporting
Accurately record all customer interactions within the CRM system.
Gather valuable customer feedback to improve the onboarding process and overall customer experience.
Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding customer activity, onboarding progress, objections, and conversion outcomes.
Ensure all customer information is maintained accurately and confidentially.
Market Knowledge
Stay informed about financial markets, economic events, trading platforms, and industry trends.
Apply market knowledge to enhance customer conversations and provide relevant trading information.
Continuously improve product knowledge to better support client decision-making.
Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams to address issues or factors that may impact customers decisions to ensure a cohesive approach to customer retention, maximizing on opportunities and the company’ revenue growth.
Problem Solving
Resolve customer onboarding issues promptly and professionally.
Identify barriers preventing customer activation and recommend appropriate solutions.
Escalate technical, operational, or compliance-related concerns where required.
Ensure all customer enquiries are resolved within agreed service standards.
Compliance & Risk Management
Adhere to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
Follow FSCA guidelines and company procedures throughout the onboarding process.
Support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
Identify and report potential risks or suspicious activities in accordance with company procedures.
Training & Professional Development
Attend all mandatory product, compliance, and sales training sessions.
Continuously develop product knowledge, sales techniques, and market understanding.
Actively participate in coaching sessions and performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Minimum 2 years' experience in Sales, Financial Services, Business Development, or a high-performance Call Centre environment.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong customer engagement, negotiation, and closing skills.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Ability to consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs.
Has worked in high pressure sales environment.
Preferred but not mandatory
Minimum 1 year of experience within Forex, CFD, Online Trading, or Financial Markets. (Conversion)
Knowledge of online trading platforms and financial products.
Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
