The operator runs a seaming machine to create insulation panels through cutting and heat welding. Responsibilities include performing safety checks, machine maintenance, quality control testing, and moving materials via forklift.
Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in production or warehouse environments. One year of machine operation experience is also preferred.
Description
The Machine Operator runs the seaming machine and provides basic adjustments as needed. The seaming machine rolls out fabric, cuts by specified measurement, and heat welds together to create a bigger insulation panel. This associate will ensure quality of all rolls including seams, fabric usage, panel length, and labeling of panels. This is a 2nd shift position with a schedule consisting of Monday through Thursday 3:00PM - 12:30AM and Friday 11:00AM - 5:00PM.
