In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting high-quality patient care, helping appointments run smoothly, and creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:30 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities
Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental visit
Assist the General Dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative treatment, crown and bridge work, fillings, extractions, root canals, hygiene support, and other general dental treatments
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure appointments run efficiently and on schedule
Take diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, intraoral photos, scans, and impressions as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental health to support positive outcomes
Monitor patient flow and work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize wait times
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records as needed
Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment area
Collaborate closely with the dental team to support exceptional patient care and day-to-day office operations
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications
Previous dental assisting experience
Experience in general dentistry strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with dental experience and a positive attitude
Strong communication skills with the ability to help patients feel comfortable and supported during treatment
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, dependable attitude
Comfort using dental software and digital imaging technology
Current Dental Assistant licensure/certification as required by state regulations
Valid radiology/X-ray certification
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control standards, and compliance updates
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and dental practice management software
