Perform blood collection procedures, including mini-physical exams and venipuncture, from volunteer donors. Provide post-donation care and maintain positive relationships with donors and colleagues.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an approved phlebotomy course with clinical experience. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

The mission of Shepeard Community Blood Center is to collect, process and distribute blood and blood products. Shepeard Community Blood Center is a 501 (c) 3 organization founded in 1978. Today the blood center collects more than 42,000 blood products each year. Over 144 donors are needed each day to meet this need. Shepeard Blood Center provides blood and blood products for 20 hospitals, as well as the Joseph M. Still Burn Center.
