The Role

As a Cloud- & Infra Engineer at SAVR, you will be part of our tech organization helping build and evolve the next generation investment platform. While this role primarily focuses on cloud infrastructure and operations, you will occasionally contribute to backend development and platform-related initiatives.

A significant part of your work will involve designing, improving, and operating our cloud environments to ensure scalability, reliability and a great developer experience. You will work closely with Software Engineers to build high-quality products and technical solutions across the organization.

Our infrastructure is built on AWS and managed through Terraform, with CI/CD through GitHub Actions, alongside some GCP and a handful of third-party services. Our services are built in Kotlin, PHP and Python and run on ECS, with data in Aurora, PostgreSQL and Snowflake. As we grow, so does the demand for a cloud platform that is reliable, well-governed, observable, and pleasant to build on - that's where you come in.

Your Mission

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, observability, backups, and cloud governance.

• Drive technical improvements across cloud architecture, CI/CD, automation, and reliability, reducing toil through good tooling and abstractions.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop cloud-native solutions, integrations, and infrastructure that enable product development.

• Support backend teams with infrastructure expertise and contribute to application development when needed.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• Foster our learning culture by actively participating in feedback sessions, both receiving and providing constructive feedback on code and infrastructure changes.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You...

• Are an engineer who specializes in cloud infrastructure and modern cloud-native technologies, preferably within AWS.

• Have solid experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, ECS and/or EKS, and observability tooling.

• Have 4+ years of professional experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based systems in production environments.

• Enjoy working in a startup environment where you can take ownership, solve a wide range of technical challenges, and collaborate across disciplines.

• Care about automation, operational excellence, security, and building reliable systems that scale.

• Have experience with backend development and enjoy collaborating closely with application engineers.

• Are fluent in English and either hold Swedish citizenship or a valid EU work permit (visa sponsorship is unfortunately not available).
