As Workshop Team Leader, you will lead and coordinate daily workshop operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of maintenance and repair services that meet customer expectations and business objectives. You will supervise and develop the workshop team, drive operational excellence, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and ensure optimal utilisation of resources, tools, and equipment. By fostering a strong safety culture, continuous improvement mindset, and customer-focused approach, you will contribute to maximising equipment availability, productivity, and service performance.
Lead, coach, and support workshop employees to achieve operational and performance objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor workshop activities to ensure efficient execution of work and adherence to schedules.
Ensure maintenance and repair activities are completed to Sandvik quality standards and customer requirements.
Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor resource utilisation, productivity, and workflow to optimise workshop performance.
Ensure tools, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, organised, and operational condition.
Support employee development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Maintain accurate documentation, service records, and reporting requirements.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement actions to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment that reflects Sandvik's values and ways of working.
To succeed in this role, you are a Congolese (DRC) citizen with an Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. You have hands-on experience in logistics operations and customer-facing environments, enabling you to deliver high-quality service and support.
You understand the importance of meeting customer commitments and recognise the impact that delays, inaccuracies, or poor-quality execution can have on business performance and customer satisfaction.
Working in a global and multicultural organisation, you communicate confidently in both English and French, verbally and in writing. You are comfortable using digital tools and business systems, and prior experience with ERP platforms is highly desirable.

Planifier et coordonner les activités de l’atelier afin d’assurer une exécution efficace et le respect des plannings.
Garantir la qualité des opérations de maintenance et de réparation selon les standards Sandvik et les exigences des clients.
Promouvoir la culture HSE et assurer la conformité aux politiques de l’entreprise et aux exigences légales.
Optimiser l’utilisation des ressources, la productivité et les flux de travail.
Maintenir les outils et équipements en bon état, sûrs et opérationnels.
Accompagner le développement des employés par la formation, le mentorat et les retours de performance.
Assurer la documentation et les rapports de service.
Identifier les possibilités d’amélioration continue pour renforcer la sécurité, la qualité, l’efficacité et la satisfaction client.

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous êtes citoyen congolais (RDC) titulaire d’un certificat avancé ou d’un diplôme en logistique, gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement ou discipline similaire. Vous avez une expérience pratique en opérations logistiques et en environnements orientés client, vous permettant de fournir un service et un support de haute qualité.
Vous comprenez l’importance de respecter les engagements clients et reconnaissez l’impact que peuvent avoir les retards, les imprécisions ou une exécution de faible qualité sur la performance de l’entreprise et la satisfaction des clients.
