Position Summary:  

We are seeking Machine Operators to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. We will train!

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

·         Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.

·         Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and efficiency.

·         Perform regular maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

·         Troubleshoot and repair machine issues as needed.

·         Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

·         Maintain accurate production records and reports.

·         Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.

·         Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily as well as the ability to handle situations by working as a team.

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         At least 2 years of experience operating machines.

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

·         Good communication and teamwork skills.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

·         Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.

Education and/or Experience

The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. The job may require the candidate to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. The company provides personal protective equipment and adheres to all safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud and PPE is required. Appropriate hearing protection while in the plant is required as noise levels within the facility meet OSHA requirements for hearing protection equipment.. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
