Full job description

Who We Are

ROHL Global Networks Inc. is a Western Canada-based infrastructure company with operations across North America, specializing in telecommunications, utility construction, solar energy, and power infrastructure — serving enterprise, government, and wholesale clients.

We are hiring full-time Labourers to support crews on a newly awarded multi-year contract, offering stable year-round work and career growth in utility and telecommunications construction.

The Role

Our Labourers are essential members of our crews and play an important role in the safe, efficient, and successful completion of ROHL projects. They provide hands-on support throughout all phases of construction, helping keep work progressing, equipment and materials organized, and the crew prepared to complete each task safely and effectively.

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Site Support & Material Handling

  • Safely load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist operators with spotting, signaling, grading, site preparation, and cleanup.
  • Operate small tools and equipment where qualified.

Traffic Control & Worksite Operations

  • Set up, adjust, and remove traffic control devices according to approved plans.
  • Direct traffic when required and assist with daily site setup, mobilization, and demobilization.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Participate in safety meetings, briefings, and inspections.
  • Support supervisors and the Safety Department in maintaining a safe, compliant worksite.

Teamwork & Professional Conduct

  • Work safely, reliably, and productively as part of the crew.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and arrive prepared for physical outdoor work.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, respect, accountability, and a positive attitude.

What you Bring

  • Previous experience in construction, utilities, telecommunications, or civil infrastructure is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment; experience operating skid steers or similar equipment is an asset.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a crew.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining regular attendance.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and travel as required by project needs.

What We Offer

  • Competitive wages - based on experience, skill level, and performance
  • Full benefits coverage including extended health, dental, and vision for you and your family
  • Company-matched Group RSP / TFSA program
  • Year-round, stable work with long-term project opportunities
  • Training and development to help you build skills and grow your career within ROHL

7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Some evenings and/or weekends as required by project needs
