The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.

Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Medical Management Internship from unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.

Work based exposure may include the following:

• Drafting of undertakings
• Activation of undertakings
• Bill Review
• Preauthorisations
• Drafting of Treatment plans
• Medical Payments assessments
• Caregiver Payments
• Trust/ curators assessments

Qualifications and other Requirements (Please ensure you attach certified copies of the below)

• Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Certified copy of Qualifications: Bachelors Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Health Science/ Medical Related Qualification
• Registration with HPCSA or SANC will be an added advantage
• Certified copy of your ID
• Certified copy of Academic transcript
• Your CV and motivational letter

Remuneration

The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
