The Project Engineer will handle planning, design, and specialty services for stormwater and water resources projects. Responsibilities include performing hydrology and hydraulics analyses, ensuring environmental compliance, and mentoring junior engineers.
Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering and at least 4 years of experience in water resources. A Florida PE license (or ability to obtain one within a year) and proficiency in H&H software are mandatory.

RESPEC, seeks a Water Resource Project Engineer in our Water market sector, located in our Sarasota or Tampa, FL locations.
As a Project Engineer you will be involved with all types of planning, design, and specialty services relating to the stormwater and water resources engineering field. Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, community improvements, environmental compliance and permitting, infrastructure resiliency, stormwater engineering, and watershed modeling for our public and private sector clients.
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
