Full job description

RAM Consulting is a Canadian project delivery firm supporting some of North America’s most complex and impactful infrastructure projects. We specialize in engineering, project and construction management, and project support services across the marine, transportation, utilities, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

Our clients trust us to help deliver critical infrastructure that builds communities, supports economic growth, and improves everyday life. Everything we do is guided by a commitment to safety, integrity, and sustainability.

From early planning through to delivery, we work collaboratively with our clients and partners to get projects done right.

About the Opportunity

RAM Consulting is building a talent pipeline for an upcoming major wastewater infrastructure project in Vancouver and is seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals with wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) project experience.

We are looking to connect with individuals across a range of disciplines and seniority levels who can support the successful planning, coordination, oversight, quality, and safe execution of complex wastewater infrastructure work. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major capital project that will play an important role in supporting long-term regional infrastructure and environmental resilience.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience on wastewater treatment plant, water treatment, pumping station, process mechanical, and major utility / heavy civil infrastructure projects.

Roles of Interest

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from professionals in the following areas:

  • Construction Managers
  • HSE Managers / HSE Advisors
  • Interface Managers
  • QA/QC Managers / Coordinators
  • Inspectors
(including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and general construction inspection backgrounds)

We welcome interest from candidates at various experience levels, from strong intermediate professionals to senior project leaders, provided they bring relevant experience in wastewater or comparable complex infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on the role and level of experience, but may include:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of major wastewater infrastructure and treatment plant construction activities
  • Provide construction leadership, field oversight, and technical coordination across project scopes and stakeholders
  • Manage or support site-based construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery
  • Oversee contractor performance, field execution, work sequencing, and adherence to project requirements
  • Lead or support health, safety, and environmental initiatives, including site safety planning, compliance, and reporting
  • Manage project interfaces between owners, contractors, consultants, operations teams, and other project stakeholders
  • Support or lead QA/QC programs, inspection processes, non-conformance tracking, turnover documentation, and quality reporting
  • Perform or coordinate field inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards
  • Identify project risks, constructability concerns, site issues, and opportunities for improvement, and work collaboratively toward practical solutions
  • Support project reporting, documentation, issue resolution, commissioning, deficiency management, and closeout activities as required

Ideal Candidate Requirements

We are interested in candidates who bring a combination of the following:

  • Experience working on wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) projects or other major water / wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Background in construction, field execution, inspection, QA/QC, HSE, or interface management within complex capital projects
  • Experience working in one or more relevant environments such as:
    • Wastewater treatment plants
    • Water treatment facilities
    • Pump stations
    • Process mechanical systems
    • Underground / buried infrastructure
    • Heavy civil, utilities, or industrial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction execution, contractor oversight, field coordination, and project delivery in an infrastructure environment
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders

A practical, solutions-oriented approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery excellence.
