The PBIS Coordinator leads the implementation of behavior support programs, manages behavior data, and ensures program fidelity across the school. They also provide direct support to students, collaborate with teachers on classroom interventions, and facilitate training for staff.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in education or a related field and possess at least three years of experience in behavior intervention or special education. Knowledge of IDEA compliance, IEP development, and relevant state certifications is required.

The PBIS Coordinator is a critical participant in the implementation of all policies and procedures related to the Special Education programs at Fairwold Academy. The PBIS Coordinator maintains relationships with teachers, staff, and administration concerning all behavior-related trends, issues, events, and data completion. The PBIS Coordinator will lead all activities, data maintenance, program modifications, and ensure program fidelity by all members of the Fairwold educational program. The PBIS Coordinator is a twelve-month position and reports to the Executive Director.
Skills
Three (3) years' experience facilitating IEP meetings and/or working with students with disabilities, particularly those with autism, intellectual disabilities, and emotional issues as a teacher, school psychologist, or related services provider is required.
