JOB SUMMARY
Proctors Collaborative seeks a Segmentation & Reporting Specialist to join the Programming & Marketing teams. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
The Segmentation & Reporting Specialist supports all Proctors Collaborative administrative departments, most frequently the Marketing and Programming teams, by serving as the central hub for patron data. This job understands and supports company-wide data goals by ensuring consistent and accurate delivery of patron communication lists, sales source information, and other regular transactional reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using CRM database Tessitura:
- Create patron lists/segmentations for promotional and transactional campaigns (email, mail, digital) by working closely with marketing account executives and the email specialist
- Build and maintain sales and donation source tracking, including internal conversion/success reporting
- Setup and maintain regular internal and external report criteria and schedules
- Build and troubleshoot approved promotional discount offers, including internal conversion/success reporting
- Work closely with the Marketing, Programming, and Development teams to build and maintain best practice patron communication processes and standards
- Support other administrative departments (Education, Corporate, Box Office, Finance) with list/segmentation criteria and basic database reporting needs, including occasional internal training support
- Work with the Data Management team to develop and continually improve SOPs for segmentation, source tracking, and report-building
- Serve as promotional and transactional eblast backup for email specialist by maintaining awareness of ActiveCampaign/Prospect2 campaign creation and send protocols
- Assist Data Management team in special database management and cleanup projects
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in database management/reporting, marketing, research/analytics, or other related field
- Experience or interest in performing arts, nonprofit, or cultural institutions preferred
- In-depth experience reporting from CRM or relational database system strongly preferred
Technical Skills
- Proven proficiency reporting within a CRM or other database systems, especially related to customer-based data and/or logic-based criteria-building
- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based collaboration tools
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, basic data analysis formulas, and related reporting tools
- Experience with email marketing platforms and segmentation strategies is a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools and concepts is a plus
