The Usher provides exemplary customer service by assisting patrons, scanning tickets, and directing them to their seats. They are also responsible for ensuring patron safety and resolving any ticket-related issues or complaints during events.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle emergency situations are required.
Description
The essential responsibility of the Usher is to provide exemplary customer service for all patrons of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center under every circumstance. The position is intended to provide prompt, efficient, professional and courteous assistance to Symphony Center patrons, guests, and clients. Other responsibilities include directing patrons to seating locations. Follow procedures and policies, etc.
