Coordinate the logistics of an ergonomics program, including equipment ordering, installation, and vendor management. Manage the ergonomics mailbox and maintain tracking dashboards for equipment requests and fulfillment timelines.

Full job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Ergonomics Program Coordinator to support a high-profile client located in downtown Manhattan, NYC.

What you will do:

  • Complete daily orders, request price quotes as necessary with vendors for wellness approved items, and update order status
  • Work with client stakeholders from Corporate Workplace Solutions and Engineering on equipment removal, installation, and mail delivery
  • Manage Ergo mailbox by professionally and clearly responding to all nonclinical (process, order or appointment) requests; forward clinical inquires to the appropriate subject matter experts (ergonomists, managers, directors, etc.) and escalate as needed
  • Coordinate logistics for sit stand program by managing site specific SOPs, placing shipment requests, monitoring delivery and installation, working closely with client Engineering, placing equipment orders, and checking approval status
  • Connect with Manager/Director regarding, and keep on task with maintenance, any issues as they pertain to Ergo portal, and Ariba ordering platform, alerting through the chain of command for next steps
  • Maintain trackers, dashboards, or logs for equipment requests, approval status, fulfillment timelines, and open inquiries

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least one year of customer service or vendor coordination work experience, preferably in Environmental Health and Safety,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Zoom
  • Strong background in project and case management
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Competence with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Zoom.
  • Preferred skills but not required:
    • Project Management – ability to lead and manage multiple multi-faceted projects from conception to execution simultaneously
    • Time Management /Organizational – ability to prioritize appropriately and organize effectively with high attention to detail
    • Results Oriented – ability to achieve results and maintain a high level of productivity on multiple cross-functional projects and initiatives
    • Communication Skills –excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship management skills (written and oral) with ability to lead meetings, create communications, post upward to management and present to key stakeholders
    • Relationship Building – ability to work effectively with others including consultants, vendor partners, external and internal stakeholders and senior leaders (stakeholder engagement) in a highly collaborative team environment
    • Attitude and Enthusiasm – unrelenting commitment to delivering best in class Wellness services and offerings
    • Vendor Management – ability to understand vendor commercial models, leverage 3rd parties to execute programming on behalf of the firm, ensure vendor accountability and performance

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs. In addition to the hourly rate, Plus One offers a comprehensive benefits package (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
