Overview
Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. PSI is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support The Tactical Assault Kit/Team Awareness Kit (TAK) Product Center (TPC). The individual will work alongside senior team members to ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of the TAK CI/CD pipeline and its critical systems and infrastructure. The individual will also assist in developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Monitor system health, responding to incidents, and preventing future issues.
Contribute to cost-savings strategies, performance optimization, and the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.
Patch systems proactively to increase reliability and properly document all changes.
Write reports, development notes, and wikis for supporting documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
3+ years technical experience in systems/network administration.
Experience with Linux and cloud computing (AWS preferred).
Experience with containerization to optimize cloud use.
CI/CD pipeline system experience and familiarization with relevant artifacts, and products.
Zero Trust implementation experience.
Desired Qualifications
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
