Your day to day as a Equipment Operator

As a Full-Time Equipment Operator at the City of Pharr, you will be responsible for operating a utility trailer transport and supervising the loading and unloading of heavy equipment. This dynamic role will require you to expertly handle a variety of light equipment and machines, including shredders, mowers, weed eaters, forklifts, slope mowers, bailers, chainsaws, blowers, water pumps, compactors, light towers, and generators. You will be integral in managing material and equipment during construction operations, ensuring efficiency and safety throughout the process. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance on all equipment, contributing to seamless operations and upholding our commitment to innovation and quality service.
