About the role:
The Accountant Manager is primarily responsible for the financial, accounting and budgeting strategy of the company. This is a mix of managerial and hands on role, with main focus on supervise all the functions related to the treasury, invoicing, banking relations, financial audits and also the general investment policy of the company.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
Spanish fluent is a must, English Advanced will be a plus.
Experience in regulated vertical (financial services or/and payments business) and experience having exposure to BACEN.
Self-motivated, with ability to lead and drive change initiatives, can-do attitude.
Experience leading main yearly audits with the support and follow up of top audit firms.
Previous experience in implementing ERP systems is highly desirable.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
Solid knowledge of local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
Support the treasury team in investment strategies taking into account liquidity and cash risks.
Monitor and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure.
Manage and prepare reliable current and forecast reports following local GAAP and IFRS of 5 Subsidiaries.
Lead and supervise along with top external firm main Audits of the area.
Lead the implementation and monitor the new ERP of the company's finance department.
Ensure compliance with the law and company policies (BACEN)
Manage and monitor along with the external partner, all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate local GAAP / IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage the monthly closing process and ensure timely reporting to HQ.
Identify levers to optimize the accounting processes and operations and KPI´s for financial and operational control.
