The Senior Pricing Actuary will provide transparent account pricing for Casualty and Motor reinsurance treaty business while acting as a business partner to underwriters. They will also contribute to the development of pricing methodologies, perform market analysis, and support portfolio optimization across the EMEA region.
Candidates must have over 10 years of industry experience, including at least 7 years in reinsurance or large account primary insurance pricing. A university degree in a quantitative discipline is required, and an actuarial qualification is highly preferred.

The position is embedded in the World-Wide Pricing & Analytics department, which is part of the Group Underwriting Office.
The successful candidate will join the Casualty EMEA Pricing team in Zurich, which is part of the World-Wide Casualty Pricing & Analytics group and has pricing responsibility for Casualty and Motor lines of business across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Your core responsibility is to be a Business Partner for the underwriters by providing profitability analysis of markets, segments, and individual transactions. In this role you will:
A key success factor in this role is regular exchange with Underwriters and other business partners, such as Reserving, Risk Management and Senior Management.
You have gained 10+ years of relevant industry experience including 7+ years of reinsurance pricing or large account primary insurance pricing experience, and wish to develop further in this area.
