Full job description

Director, Capital Markets

Parkview Financial is an alternative investment manager specializing in commercial real estate credit in the U.S. Over its 17-year history, Parkview has successfully executed over $4 billion in short-term bridge and construction first-lien financing across 200 loans. The firm is active in major U.S. markets and is primarily focused on middle-market loans for the development, acquisition, renovation or refinancing of multifamily, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects.

Founded in 2009, with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas, Parkview has earned a reputation within the commercial real estate industry as a respected private lender known for its ability to provide swift, creative financing solutions to borrowers requiring certainty of execution.

Parkview's success is driven by its team of seasoned in-house experts across originations, credit underwriting and construction, who bring creativity and agility to even the most complex projects. This combination of expertise and flexibility has solidified Parkview's standing as a trusted partner to experienced and well-capitalized borrowers.

Job Responsibilities:

RIA, Family Offices and Wealth Managers - Relationship Management:

  • Own and grow a national portfolio of relationships with RIAs, family offices and wealth managers to raise equity capital for Parkview’s construction loan syndications.
  • Identify and develop new RIA, family offices and wealth manager prospects to broaden distribution reach.
  • Present investment opportunities to these partners and their end clients in a manner consistent with firm standards and applicable securities regulations.

Business Development and Strategy:

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of offering materials, subscription documents, and investor updates.
  • Participate in industry events and RIA-focused conferences to support business development activity.

Reporting and Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain thorough and current records of investor activity, deal allocations, and relationship history within the firm’s CRM.
  • Provide pipeline and capital activity reporting to the CEO on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • 5–20 years of experience in alternative investment distribution, private placements, or capital markets with demonstrated RIA, family office and wealth manager channel expertise.
  • Established and active book of relationships with RIA, family offices and wealth managers with the ability to engage those relationships upon joining Parkview.
  • Deep familiarity with private placement processes and deal-by-deal syndication structures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey real estate and credit concepts clearly to a financial advisor audience.
  • Proven ability to manage a national relationship base with a high degree of independence.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA a plus.

Compensation:

Base salary of $150,000–$250,000, depending on the candidate's experience level and the size and quality of their existing RIA, family office, and wealth manager book, plus performance-based commission structured to align the role’s economics with investor outcomes and firm performance.

Location: This role is based in Los Angeles, CA. LA-based candidates are preferred, but we're open to strong candidates elsewhere, especially those with an active RIA/family office/wealth manager book.
