Perform general laundry and housekeeping duties to ensure a sanitary environment and quality linen service for nursing home residents. Responsibilities include collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and clothing.
Requires a GED or High School Diploma, with one year of experience preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and possess basic reading and mathematical skills.
Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Education and/or Experience
GED or High School Diploma
1 year of experience preferred
Language Skills
Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures

Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
