The Box Office Associate manages ticketing operations and on-site patron services using the Elevent system to ensure a welcoming guest experience. Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, handling ticket fulfillment, and coordinating with production and marketing teams.
Candidates must have previous experience in box office or ticketing operations and proficiency with ticketing platforms and Google Workspace. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to LGBTQ inclusivity and accessibility are required.

General Expectations: This position is fully in-person during the festival. Scheduling will be based on event and departmental needs and coordinated with the Box Office Team. Occasional in-person meetings prior to the event may be required. Any external commitments that could impact shift availability should be communicated to your supervisor as early as possible.
Compensation: $22/hr
Benefits: This is a part-time position during Outfest’s reconstruction phase. As such, no traditional benefits (such as health insurance or paid time off) are currently offered.
This position is non-exempt and all authorized hours worked will be paid in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.

Position Summary: The Box Office Associate supports OutfestNEXT’s ticketing and on-site patron services to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for attendees, filmmakers, partners, and guests. Working closely with the Box Office Manager and Operations team, this role handles ticketing operations, customer service, volunteer support, and day-of troubleshooting.
