The EVS Tech I is responsible for routine cleaning and disinfection to maintain a healthy workplace and prevent infections. They ensure timely room cleans to support hospital patient throughput and adjust workflows based on discharge needs.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills and preferably a high school diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications include 6 months of housekeeping experience and professional certifications such as CNACC or CHEST.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The EVS Tech I, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. The EVS Tech I is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, while ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. This role is also responsible for ensuring timely room cleans, especially as it relates to hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
