The Lead Food Service Worker assists in food production, inventory management, and regulatory compliance while directing the daily workflow of dietary staff. This is a hands-on role that involves performing dietary staff duties and providing leadership in the absence of the manager.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of food service experience. Required certifications include Food Handler, Food Service Sanitation Manager, and Allergen Certification, all to be obtained within specified timeframes.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Food Service Worker assists in planning, production, inventory, compliance, and directs actions of others. The Lead Food Service Worker leads workflow of the dietary functions in the Leader’s absence. The Lead Food Service Worker is a working position and may fulfill duties of dietary staff.
