The CNA provides safe basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, assisting with daily activities, and collecting specimens. They also record patient information and communicate with the care team to ensure continuity of service.
Candidates must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and an American Heart Association BLS certification. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with six months of clinical healthcare experience.

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.

-Experience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
