Perform mammography procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Operate under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner following ACR and MQSA standards.
Requires completion of a radiography program and current ARRT(R) and IEMA licensure, with ARRT(M) certification required within 18 months. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $39.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
OSF offers a supportive environment focused on professional growth and development. Benefits include paid continuing education units (CEUs), tuition reimbursement for further education, a 401(k) plan with a dollar-for-dollar match on the first 5% of salary contributed, and 40 hours of Well-Being Time each year, available after 90 days of employment and renewed annually on your work anniversary. The Mammography Tech performs all mammography procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license and according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Completion of a radiography program with associated certificate or degree
Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Techs) Radiography(R)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Techs) Mammography(M) within 18 months of hire date
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) Licensure as a registered radiologic technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (BLS for HealthCare Providers)
