You will lead the global treasury and payments operations, overseeing liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and financial reconciliation. Additionally, you will manage the Payments & Settlement team to ensure reliable money movement and build scalable financial processes.
The role requires at least 7 years of experience in treasury, payments, or financial operations, including 2 years of direct people management. Candidates must possess strong financial and accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel and BI tools, and the ability to manage complex multi-currency environments.

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Head of Treasury & Payments to lead the financial operations behind Okoora's global money movement.
You will own our day-to-day treasury and liquidity operations, payments and settlements, wallet activity, and financial reconciliation. You will maintain a clear and reliable view of where money is held, what is expected to move, what has moved, and which exceptions require action.
Reporting to the CEO, you will directly manage the Payments & Settlement team and work closely with Finance, Trading, Compliance, Data, Product, and R&D.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong financial judgment with operational discipline and is comfortable moving between the big picture and individual transactions when something does not add up.
Nice to have: Experience with cross-border payments, hedging, treasury or reconciliation automation, SQL, or building and improving Treasury Operations, Payments, or Reconciliation functions.
This is an opportunity to lead a core function at the heart of Okoora's financial operations. You will manage an existing team, have direct impact on how liquidity and payments are operated, and build the Treasury & Payments infrastructure required to support a growing global fintech operating across complex, multi-currency financial flows.
