We are seeking an experienced employment attorney to serve as a trusted legal advisor to Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compliance, Risk, and business leadership. This role provides strategic and practical counsel on a broad range of employment law matters across the employee lifecycle, helping the organization navigate complex workforce issues while balancing legal risk, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leaders to advise primarily on US related employee relations matters, internal investigations, employment litigation, workforce transformation initiatives, regulatory developments, and policy governance. This individual will play a critical role in promoting legally compliant employment practices, mitigating enterprise risk, and supporting a positive and productive workplace culture across a large, complex organization.
Salary Range:
$160,100 - 272,300 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
