The Backend Software Engineer will own the Payments & Partnerships domain while collaborating with product, marketing, and front-end teams to iterate on features. They will be responsible for the full lifecycle of features from design to production, utilizing clean code practices and AI-powered tools.
Candidates must have at least 6 years of backend development experience and a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent. Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or similar languages, along with experience in distributed cloud environments and relational databases, is required.

Our Backend Software Engineer can expect to work with the latest backend technologies and programming languages. We’re big fans of server-side Kotlin, and we produce clean, testable code fast and push it into production several times a day via our CI / CD pipeline. Additionally, our Backend Software Engineer will be supporting and owning our Payments & Partnerships domain.
