Role purpose 

• Bring market, customer and commercial thinking into an AI Factory.

• Turn platforms, products and technical capabilities into clear propositions that sales teams and clients can understand, buy and adopt. 

• Help and support product owners develop a strong point of view on their markets, industries and products. 

• Own and manage the AI Factory product repository as the authoritative source for product, commercial, technical and marketing information. 

• Connect product strategy, market development, sales enablement and selected client delivery activities. 

Core responsibilities 

• Own product marketing across the AI Factory, including market segmentation, target buyers, customer needs, positioning, messaging, differentiation and value propositions. 

• Conduct market, industry, competitor and technology scans to identify opportunities, threats and portfolio gaps. 

• Translate market insight and client feedback into product strategy, priorities, packaging and roadmap recommendations. 

• Work with product owners to define the problem each product solves, for whom, why it is differentiated and how it should be positioned in specific industries and markets. 

• Develop strong points of view around the products and the business or industry changes they address. 

• Create and maintain sales and marketing content, including product presentations, propositions, solution briefs, client stories, proposal content, demonstrations and website material. 

• Support sales and presales teams with account preparation, opportunity qualification, product selection, presentations, proposals and executive client conversations. 

• Plan and support events, launches, campaigns, demonstrations, customer councils and thought-leadership activities. 

• Ensure consistent product language and messaging across product owners, sales, marketing and delivery teams. 

• Work with product owners to gather customer feedback, evidence, references and measurable outcomes. 

• Help turn successful client projects into repeatable propositions, packaged products and reusable sales material. 

• Participate in selected presales and delivery engagements where market, product or client leadership is required. 

• Where appropriate, own defined client workstreams or smaller engagements, particularly those involving discovery, product strategy, adoption or proposition development. 

• Support portfolio reviews by bringing a market and commercial perspective to investment, lifecycle and prioritisation decisions. 

Product repository ownership 

• Own the structure, content and ongoing management of the AI Factory product repository. 

• Maintain the repository as the single point of access for product cards and associated marketing, sales, technical, commercial and legal material. 

• Define and maintain the product taxonomy, information standards and minimum content required for each product. 

• Work with product owners to ensure product cards, lifecycle stages, positioning, evidence and supporting material remain accurate and current. 

• Establish content owners, review dates and update cadences, following up where information is incomplete or out of date. 

• Maintain links to approved presentations, proposals, technical documents, pricing material, license and support options, and contract templates. 

• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Commercial, Engineering and Delivery to ensure controlled material is current and appropriately accessible. 

• Use the repository to improve portfolio visibility, identify content or product gaps and support portfolio decisions. 

• Define the requirements for progressively automating the repository through SharePoint, access controls and connections to authoritative data sources.

• A current, trusted and well-governed product repository used across the organisation.

• Improved confidence within sales and support teams when positioning and selling AI Factory products. 

• Increased product adoption and external visibility for the AI Factory. 

Profile 

• Strong product marketing, product strategy, proposition development or market-development experience. 

• Comfortable working across marketing, sales, product, engineering and delivery. 

• Able to understand complex AI and technology products and translate them into compelling business language. 

• Strong writer, storyteller and presentation creator, with confidence in senior client conversations. 

• Commercially minded and comfortable supporting opportunities from early positioning through delivery and adoption. 

• Structured and disciplined in managing product information, content governance and multiple stakeholders. 

• Practical and hands-on: able to create the strategy, build the content, manage the repository and participate directly in client work. 

• Industry experience and familiarity with enterprise AI, digital platforms or technology services would be valuable.
