The OHL Operations Manager leads multiple regional teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of overhead line work. They are accountable for operational strategy, commercial performance, and maintaining high standards of technical integrity and safety across their designated area.
Candidates must hold a minimum HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical engineering. Significant experience in leading multi-disciplined operational teams and a strong understanding of HV systems and overhead line operations are essential.
We’re looking for two passionate OHL Operations Managers to join our Overhead Lines Team, with one opportunity based in North and one in East.
They lead multiple operational teams and are accountable for safety, asset ownership, and technical integrity across a designated geographical area. They ensure the safe and efficient delivery of all Overhead Line work, meeting agreed time, cost, and quality targets. They provide strong leadership and direction, driving operational excellence, workforce competence, and continuous improvement across their area of responsibility.
This is a regional role, but national travel may be required. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you.

Salary up £78,000 dependant on experience.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on target being 15% (with a maximum of 30%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to several flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
