We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of a series of HVDC projects on the Eastern Green Link 4 (EGL4) project along the East Coast of the UK. This role offers hybrid working with travel required to Edinburgh and Walpole. We’re happy to discuss flexible working arrangements to make this role work for you.
National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) is developing and constructing a series of HVDC projects along the East Coast of the UK, that will be delivered within joint venture partnerships.
Your role will be to manage EPC projects to time and budget, hitting key milestones along the way, focussing on the construction of a Converter Station. You’ll be accountable for meeting agreed programme, cost and quality outcomes, while embedding health, safety and environmental excellence throughout the project lifecycle and delivering against regulatory, stakeholder and customer commitments.
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a Converter Station and lead a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers and Project Supervisors through the project life cycle.
A competitive salary up to £81,000 per annum based on experience. This role comes with a job requirement car.
As well as your base salary, a bonus of up to 30% of your salary for stretch performance, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, a salary sacrifice technology scheme, support via the employee assistance line, and matched charity giving to name a few.
