About the role

Our Growth team drives customer acquisition and unit growth across MONEYME’s core lending products (personal loans, debt consolidation, credit cards, and auto loans).

As Performance Marketing Manager, you will take direct commercial ownership of our paid media and affiliate channels, while leading our onsite conversion rate optimization (CRO) program. Beyond day-to-day channel execution, you will co-architect and evolve our core growth engine: performance tracking, attribution setups, dynamic experimentation, and deep funnel analysis.

Working alongside our digital performance agency (Google, Meta, Bing), you will systematically scale new paid channels and lead partner expansion. You will own end-to-end performance reporting across GA4, GTM, server-side setups, and attribution tooling like Ruler Analytics. In parallel, you will execute a high-velocity CRO roadmap in lockstep with our design, engineering, and data teams to maximise funded loan conversions.

We are building a next-generation growth stack at MONEYME: measurement we can trust, channels built for scale, and an experimentation cadence that compounds quarter-on-quarter. Partnering directly with the Head of Growth, you will bring the commercial rigor, analytical curiosity, and pace required to set the industry standard for fintech performance marketing.

What you will own

Paid Media Performance & Channel Scale

• Commercial Outcomes: Own acquisition metrics that directly impact the P&L—CAC, payback, LTV, and funded loan volume, over platform vanity metrics.

• Agency Partnership: Direct, brief, and hold our media agency accountable across Google, Meta, and Bing.

• Native & Discovery Channels: Optimise and expand discovery networks (e.g., Taboola), coordinating high-converting messaging with internal creative and content teams.

• Budget Allocation: Dynamically shift capital across channels, products, and funnel stages based on real-time performance and margin signals.

• New Channel Scaling: Lead new channel expansion—backed by a dedicated test-and-learn budget—from initial business case to full commercial scale.

Affiliates & Financial Aggregators

• Partner Strategy: Scale high-performing affiliate networks, performance media partners, and fintech aggregators alongside paid search and social.

• Comparison Platforms: Manage commercial relationships and ranking performance across major platforms (e.g., ClearScore, Canstar).

• Commercial Quality: Structure partner deals around downstream loan execution quality and target CAC, rather than top-of-funnel lead volume.

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

• Hypothesis Framework: Build and prioritize a hypothesis-driven CRO roadmap across landing pages and application funnels grounded in user data.

• Experiment Execution: Partner with engineering to configure and launch tests within Webtrends Optimize.

• Insights & Compounding Velocity: Analyse outcomes, document wins/learnings, and maintain a visible experiment calendar to ensure insights continuously compound across the team.

Measurement, Attribution & Testing

• Tracking Architecture: Maintain precise, full-funnel tracking across GA4, GTM, server-side APIs, and attribution tooling (Ruler Analytics).

• Incrementality & Testing: Introduce geo-holdouts, matched-market tests, and uplift experiments to test true incremental lift over platform-reported ROAS.

• Attribution Insight: Translate attribution data into actionable operational optimizations across channels and campaigns.

Creative Execution & Growth Planning

• Creative Engine: Partner with brand/creative teams to run our 'Ad Labs' creative testing pipeline, aligning messaging to each funnel stage.

• Cross-Functional Strategy: Contribute product-led growth ideas and coordinate closely with lifecycle, product, design, and go-to-market teams.

To be successful in this role, you will have

• Extensive experience in performance or growth marketing, with a proven track record managing digital acquisition budgets against CAC, payback, and LTV targets.

• Hands-on mastery of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and GA4.

• Solid grounding in CRO methodologies, AB testing concepts, and conversion funnel optimization.

• Strong working knowledge of web analytics and tracking infrastructure (GTM, server-side tagging, conversion APIs).

• High commercial acumen with the ability to translate media spend directly into business outcomes (funded loan volume, unit economics).

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across product, engineering, data, and design.

• Genuine curiosity and an eagerness to learn advanced measurement frameworks like hold-out testing, MTA, and MMM.

Highly regarded, but not essential

• Practical experience running geo-holdout, matched-market, or incrementality experiments.

• Exposure to Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) tools or Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).

• Experience scaling financial comparison aggregator relationships (Finder, Canstar, ClearScore) or affiliate networks in Australian financial services.

• Hands-on experience with dedicated CRO platforms (Webtrends Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, AB Tasty).

• Background in fintech, consumer lending, banking, or another regulated industry.

• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for ad copy generation, creative testing, or audience research.
