The Job: Employee Communications Specialist
We’re seeking an Employee Communications Specialist to execute internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned. This role plays a key part in supporting company initiatives, enhancing employee experience, and ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Manage and maintain the company intranet (SharePoint), ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with brand standards
Develop and execute communication plans aligned with business objectives
Write and edit content for internal channels in English (French is an asset)
Ensure consistency of messaging across audiences and platforms
Promote company vision, mission, and values through internal communications
Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate initiatives and operational updates
Act as a liaison between teams to facilitate effective information flow
Collect and analyze feedback to improve communication effectiveness
What You’ll Bring to the Table
Fluent in both English and French both written and verbal
3–4 years of experience in internal or employee communications
Strong writing and editing skills
Experience working with distributed or remote teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and content tools
Education + Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or related field (preferred)
Experience in financial services is an asset
