Safely operate multiple mixers and mills to produce high consistency silicone rubber according to customer specifications. Maintain accurate production records and ensure the work area remains clean and orderly during shift transitions.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow production instructions. Preferred candidates have 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ensure that all safety equipment is readily available and that all guards are in place.
Read batch cards/electronic devices for directions, such as proper amounts, temperature controls, weights and sequences of extrusion, and any other additional instructions.
Operate (safely) multiple Mixers/Mills and related equipment.
Update and maintain production records on batches extruded.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner, especially during shift transition.
Learn and understand basic customer requirements and the equipment and materials used in extrusion, packaging, and finishing.
Receive and relay vital communications with co-workers concerning daily production strategies.
Carry out any other tasks as assigned.

The following are minimum qualifications for this role:
High school diploma or GED
Able to read and follow production instructions.
Perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.
Demonstrated basic writing skills necessary to complete daily production records.
Demonstrated basic verbal communication skills necessary to transfer or interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments.
Must be able to read, understand, and speak English.
Able to work independently and multi-task.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) and a criminal background.

1-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting
