The Staff Accountant is responsible for monthly and quarterly general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with close processes for multiple insurance entities. They will also support annual statutory filings and research technical accounting topics while collaborating across departments to resolve outstanding financial items.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills are required to handle a dynamic environment with a steep learning curve.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 40 hours weekly, or as otherwise arranged with the manager of the department.
