MISSION
The Master data Officer (MDM) will manage the creation, maintenance, and management of master data across various business domains (e.g., customers, products, suppliers, logistics, financials). The successful candidate will be providing a fast and high-quality service to support our operations while ensuring upstream processes are executed in accordance with our policies and procedures. The IT panel includes CRM, ERP, CTRM (Commodity Trading & Risk Management), TMS (Treasury Management System), Inventory Management, and Production Management systems. The Master Data Officer will integrate a small multicultural team within a stimulating and faced pace environment with a decentralized center led approach and philosophy.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Master data Governance
Ensuring the application of master data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks for all data domains.
Maintaining data standards, data models, and data dictionaries to ensure consistency across various platforms (CRM, ERP, CTRM, TMS, Inventory, and Production Management).
Process Improvement
Providing support to the team with the day to day activities and projects.
Being proactive in learning new skills and technologies.
Adding value to the team’s knowledge and expertise.
Representing the department in the Region/Time zone.
Providing guidance on tools, forms or processes to the other departments.
Continuously challenging status quo and proposing improvements to existing processes, policies and procedures.
Data Quality Management
Ensuring that Master data is consistent, accurate, and available across systems, adhering to business rules and industry standards.
Executing and adapting data reconciliations to ensure quality through the construction of tools.
Leading data quality assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborating with business and IT teams to resolve data quality issues and ensure clean, accurate, and reliable data.
Working with all departments to ensure the Master data setup is compliant and corresponds to the business need’s.
MDM Systems and Integration
Ensuring seamless integration of master data between Management systems.
Collaborating with IT teams to ensure consistent and accurate data flow between different enterprise systems.
Cooperating with security and compliance teams to enforce data access controls and ensure the protection of sensitive data.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field
Additional diploma or certifications in Business Analysis, Data Management, or similar fields are a plus
3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related roles.
Experience with MDM tools and platforms.
Proven experience working with multiple enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, CTRM, TMS, Inventory Management, and Production Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Understanding of data integration techniques, data modeling, and data management processes
Experience with SQL, data governance tools, and ERP/CRM/CTRM/TMS systems
Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity and a team player
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose data-driven solutions
Excellent communication skills
Resistance to stress and time-pressure
Agile and flexible mindset, proactive
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Good IT skills, proficiency in MS Office and Windows environment is expected
Good understanding and command of Murex is a big asset
