Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst supports the firm’s 2nd Line of Defense by assisting in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key risks impacting the business. Focusing on data analysis and reporting, the role independently performs risk assessments and contributes to the development of risk frameworks, metrics, and reporting used to inform management and governance bodies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze emerging risks and trends impacting the business. 
• Lead risk assessments and control evaluations. 
• Develop and maintain key risk indicators. 
• Prepare materials for risk committees. 
• Mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field. Master’s preferred 
• 3–5 years of experience in risk, audit, finance, or analytics. 
• Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Understanding of risk frameworks and governance processes. 

Working Hours:

• This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour work week (35-hour for Canada) but may vary to meet business needs.

Physical Demands:

• Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
• Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person
• Body motor skills sufficient to move from one office location to another

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $90,000 - $100,000  with an opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus.

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
