Join us in shaping the future of financial operations at Diabetes International. As the Diabetes business transitions to an independent, publicly traded company, our mission is centred on innovation, operational excellence, and growth within diabetes care. As a Principal Accountant in our Employee Benefits Accounting Team, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing employee benefit accounting operations for Diabetes International. You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple geographies while supporting process improvement initiatives and collaborating with HR and finance teams.
Based in Pune, India, this role requires close collaboration with Corporate and local Finance teams, the Accounts Payable team, internal and external auditors, as well as the IT Support team.
a. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
b. 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on employee benefits or payroll accounting.
c. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
d. Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems; TSA exit experience is a plus.
e. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
f. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
g. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
