Requires a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in a regulatory position, preferably within a financial institution. Must possess strong computer skills and a deep understanding of credit union regulatory agencies.

This position is HYBRID with 1-2 days in office per week and the remaining days working from home - MUST live within reasonable driving distance to Lansing, MI
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist supports MCUL’s member credit unions by providing practical compliance guidance, monitoring state and federal regulatory developments, and helping translate complex requirements into clear, actionable resources. This role manages Compliance Helpline inquiries, contributes to regulatory comment efforts, develops compliance-related education, and builds strong relationships with key regulatory agencies and industry partners.
Position may require periodic travel both in-state and out-of-state as needed to support events and conferences.
This position has no direct reports.
