The Role
The Senior Global Category Manager partners with the Global Head of Marketing to define and deliver the end-to-end category growth strategy—spanning consumer and HCP decision journeys, innovation, brand equity, and global execution.
This role owns the translation of category strategy into globally scalable toolkits, ensuring strong brand consistency, commercial growth, and scientific credibility across all markets.
In addition, the role plays a critical leadership position in driving global marketing strategy, 360° campaign development, and brand storytelling to elevate awareness, engagement, and performance of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Define & lead the execution of the category strategy to drive long-term growth, including portfolio, innovation priorities, and performance tracking
- Translate strategy into global toolkits (consumer & HCP journeys, messaging, claims, and core assets) for scalable execution on category brands, hero products & innovation.
- Develop and execute global marketing strategy, including integrated 360° campaigns across key markets
- Lead global product launches, partnering cross-functionally (Innovation, R&D, Regulatory, Sales, Digital) to ensure excellence and speed to market
- Ensure brand consistency globally while enabling local market relevance and impact
- Partner with insights and innovation, translating consumer, HCP, and market trends into growth opportunities
- Optimize performance and investment, managing budgets, KPIs, and ROI to maximize impact
- Partner with regional teams to adapt and execute strategies effectively across markets
- Build brand equity and storytelling, translating science into compelling, customer-relevant communication
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Basic Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing experience or a combination of consumer sales and marketing experience is required
- Flexible and able to perform in a dynamic market/ business environment and juggle around a multitude of projects.
- Able to adjust leadership style, approach and ways of working for different levels, functions.
- Self- Starter & Grow Mindset: prioritizes progress over perfection; ability to be scrappy and pivot problem- solving mindset.
- Ownership & Commitment: strong sense of urgency and accountability. takes initiative and goes beyond its “Scope” to get things done
- Collaboration & Influence: Establish constructive relationships, is able to influence key partners and decision makers without authority. Seeks to hear and consider different perspectives, values diversity of thought and experiences.
- Experience in working with HCP marketing strongly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Desired
- Experience in working with E2E cross functional teams.
- Experience in managing the complexity of working across numerous time zones
- Experience and Flexibility in managing the complexity of working across numerous time zones, and & inspiring team members across various levels who are not direct reports.
Compensation
The current range for this role based out of Jersey City, New Jersey is $163,500/yr. to $185,000/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

A minimum of 3 workdays per week are to be conducted at the Jersey City office (111 Town Square Place, Jersey City, NJ 07310).
