Responsible for the safe build-up and break-down of freight pallets and sorting items using forklifts into designated storage areas. Ensures compliance with safety policies and handles the movement of cargo according to manifests and air waybills.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift at least 75 pounds. Candidates must pass a background check, medical exam, and drug test to obtain airport operational area access.

the role holder will be responsible for the safe and efficient build up and break down of freight pallets. The ability to interpret airway bills, bills of landing, and freight manifests in order to sort freight effectively via forklift to storage racks, shelves, or bins in designated storage areas is necessary. The handling and storage of dangerous goods may also be required. You will be driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles at times and as such you will require a valid driver’s license.
You will be required to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures. We cross-train our employees so you may be expected to work in other areas of the operation. We provide classroom and on the job training to ensure you are fully trained for your new position prior to starting.
You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
