We are seeking a Data Privacy Senior Consultant to support a one-year engagement focused on strengthening data privacy operations and regulatory compliance. The consultant will play a key role in implementing and operationalizing privacy controls in alignment with Saudi PDPL and applicable international data protection laws.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Privacy operations.
Proven experience working with KSA Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and/or international privacy regulations.
Practical experience in:
Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
Data Processing Agreements (DPA)
Data Transfer
Recognized certifications from accredited institutions (e.g., IAPP).
Preferred Qualifications
Background as a qualified or practicing privacy lawyer.
Other Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and business units.
Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and operationalization of privacy programs aligned with PDPL and applicable regulations.
Develop and maintain RoPA, DPIAs, DPAs, and data transfer documentation.
Conduct privacy compliance reviews and identify remediation actions.
Support cross-border data transfer assessments and regulatory documentation.
Assist in managing data subject rights requests and privacy inquiries.
Contribute to privacy awareness and internal compliance initiatives.
Provide advisory support on privacy risks and regulatory obligations.
