The Director of Wellness provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Wellness Center, supervising clinical staff and managing daily workflows. The role focuses on building healthcare partnerships and providing high-quality, person-centered care to senior residents.
Candidates must hold a current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a BSN preferred. Previous leadership experience in a clinical or wellness setting and a passion for geriatric care are strongly desired.

Mayslake Village, a faith-based nonprofit and leader in affordable independent living for seniors since 1965, is seeking a dedicated Director of Wellness to join our vibrant on-site Wellness Center. Located on a beautiful 55-acre campus in Oak Brook, Illinois, Mayslake Village is home to more than 600 independent living residents. Our Wellness Center, staffed by nurses and administrative support, serves as a hub for healthcare services, provider visits, health education, screenings, vaccinations, and personalized support—helping residents maintain and enhance their health, independence, and quality of life.
This part-time leadership role requires 2-3 days per week of in-office presence (with some flexibility for the right candidate) and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a positive, mission-driven environment focused on dignity, compassion, and service to older adults.
Position Overview
The Director of Wellness provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Wellness Center. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for building and maintaining strong healthcare partnerships, supervising clinical and administrative staff, ensuring high-quality resident services, and promoting a culture of wellness and collaboration. The ideal candidate is an experienced, energetic nurse leader with a genuine passion for geriatric care who excels at relationship-building, critical thinking, and team support.
