Role Overview:

Join Maxis as a Social & Activation Intern and gain hands-on experience in brand marketing, social media, and event activations. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to engaging brand experiences that connect with customers across digital and on-ground channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Activations & Events: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing activations, brand events, and promotional campaigns to ensure successful delivery and positive customer experiences.

• Social Media Content & Scheduling: Assist in creating, coordinating, and scheduling social media content across various platforms while supporting day-to-day content management and campaign execution.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Work closely with agencies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with campaign objectives.

• Market Research & Campaign Reporting: Conduct market and competitor research, analyse campaign performance, and prepare reports to generate insights that support future marketing strategies.

• Administrative & Event Logistics Support: Provide administrative assistance and coordinate event logistics, including documentation, timelines, materials, and operational support for marketing activities.

Value-Added Project

The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to Pasar Hotlink, one of Maxis' key marketing activation campaigns taking place during Q3 and Q4. This project offers valuable hands-on experience in campaign planning, event execution, stakeholder coordination, and customer engagement, while contributing to a high-profile brand initiative.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.

• Social Media Interest: Passion for social media, digital marketing, brand communications, and creating engaging customer experiences.

• Creativity: Creative mindset with the ability to contribute fresh ideas for campaigns, content, and brand activations.

• Organisation & Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Teamwork: Positive attitude and willingness to learn while working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Internship Duration
