The Software Engineer will develop and enhance technology platforms using the Microsoft technology stack under the guidance of the Director of Software Development. Responsibilities include software design, architecture, and database optimization to support scalable, user-focused business applications.
Candidates need a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field and 6-8 years of professional experience in enterprise web-based applications. Proficiency in the .NET ecosystem, C#, and SQL Server is required, with Blazor and Azure knowledge being a plus.

The Software Engineer will work under the guidance of the Director of Software Development on application development initiatives utilizing the Microsoft technology stack. This role will apply expertise in software design, architecture, and development to enhance Marquette’s technology platforms, deliver innovative solutions, and expand application capabilities. The Software Engineer will contribute to building and supporting scalable, reliable, and user-focused applications while ensuring strong technical design, performance, and maintainability. Responsibilities will also include database design, development, and optimization to support high-performing business solutions.
