The engineer is responsible for delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for storage and backup infrastructure to ensure data availability and system performance. Key tasks include managing storage arrays, configuring backup solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing routine system maintenance.
Candidates must have 3-4 years of experience in storage and backup engineering, including hands-on expertise with enterprise backup software and virtualization platforms. Proficiency in storage protocols, automation scripting, and system administration for Windows and Linux environments is also required.

The T1/T2 – Storage and Backup Infrastructure Junior Engineer is responsible for delivering advanced Tier1/Tier 2 support for the organization’s storage and backup environments. This role is focused on ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of critical storage and backup systems by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to minimize service interruptions and maintain high data availability and integrity. Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing enterprise storage arrays, backup solutions, and related infrastructure, as well as implementing best practices for data protection and disaster recovery. By maintaining and enhancing the storage and backup landscape, the T2 – Storage and Backup Infrastructure Support Engineer plays an essential role in supporting business continuity and safeguarding organizational data assets.
